PERTH, AU – VGW is pleased to announce it has renewed its partnership with Breast Cancer Care WA (BCCWA) for the second year in a row. Driven by VGW’s desire to make a difference in the local communities where we operate, a $150,000 donation will go directly toward BCCWA’s Living Well program.

The Living Well program aims to optimise the health and wellbeing of BCCWA’s clients. Made up of wellness activities, interactive workshops, educational webinars, discussion groups and community events, the programs are designed to empower individuals who have completed active treatment for early breast cancer or who are living with metastatic breast cancer.

BCCWA currently operates without government funding, and instead relies on the generosity of individuals and organisations like VGW to provide tailored support services to more than 1,900 people with a breast cancer diagnosis, and their immediate families, across Western Australia this year.

BCCWA’s CEO, Max Clarke, expressed his appreciation for the continued partnership: “We’re incredibly grateful to VGW for their generous support of our Living Well program. A breast cancer diagnosis can have an impact long after treatment ends, and this partnership helps us be there for people as they regain confidence, rebuild their wellbeing and adjust to life beyond treatment. VGW’s support is making a genuine difference, helping Western Australians affected by breast cancer feel supported, connected and hopeful about the future.”

VGW’s Acting CEO, Mats Johnson, said that the company was honoured to continue supporting such a meaningful cause: “As a global company founded and headquartered in Western Australia, supporting the local community is very important to us.”

“We are proud to support organisations like Breast Cancer Care WA that provide vital support to individuals and families facing this disease. It’s an honour for us to contribute to an incredible program this year – Living Well – which goes above and beyond to offer support and connection for people experiencing breast cancer across Western Australia,” said Mr Johnson.
